Mr. Carl Sutton Morrison, age 92, of McMinnville, TN, died Friday, May 31, 2024, at Willow Branch Health and Rehab in McMinnville, TN. He was born February 22, 1932, in Morrison, TN, was the owner of Morrison’s Florist along with his wife Nell, and was a member of Doyle First Baptist Church. Mr. Morrison was preceded in death by parents Joseph Sutton and Thelma Annis Hickerson Morrison, granddaughter Chandey Rachelle Morrison, sisters Elizabeth Zinkowky, Margaret Elanor Edwards, and Martha Evelyn Morrison, and brother John Douglas Morrison.
Survivors include his wife of 70 years Nell Bounds Morrison, sons Carl Sutton Morrison, Jr. and Steve (Lea Anne) Morrison, grandchildren Sam (Bethany) Morrison, Bud (Amber) Morrison, and John (Leanne) Morrison, former daughter-in-law Debbie Morrison. Great-grandchildren and nieces, and nephews also survive.
Graveside services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, June 04, 2024 at Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Bro. Tim Judd will officiate. The Morrison Family will meet friends at the cemetery as there will be no public visitation at McMinnville Funeral Home.
