Funeral service for Carl Ray Hughes, 68, will be Friday, July 5, 2024 at 3:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home with Jurdy Wayne Hughes officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Johnson Chapel Cemetery. No Visitation is scheduled.
Mr. Hughes passed away on Monday, July 1, 2024 at his residence. He was born August 31, 1955, in Morgan County to Jurdy Washington Hughes and Zelma Barnett Hughes.
Mr. Hughes was a die hard Alabama fan who loved his family, especially his grandchildren, loved the earth and taking care of it. He enjoyed reading books and gardening and loved his dogs. His parents and a daughter: Priscilla Sellers, preceded him in death.
