Carl Owen Briggs, 69, of Florence, passed away Oct. 14, 2014.
A graveside service will be today at 2 p.m. in Civitan Cemetery, Rogersville, Alabama.
Mr. Briggs was preceded in death by his parents, Brandon and Mamie Briggs, two brothers, and one sister.
He is survived by his son, David Briggs; daughter, Toni Briggs; two sisters; and numerous nieces and nephews.
