Carl “Johnny” Jackson Greene, 89 of Lester, passed away on Saturday, November 28th, 2020 at his residence. Mr. Greene was born on April 25th, 1931, to Zollie Greene and Effie Lyles Greene.
Funeral services for Mr. Greene will be on Wednesday, December 2nd, 2020 at 2:00pm at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Chuck Hood officiating. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 12:00-2:00pm at the funeral home. Burial will be at Roselawn Cemetery.
Mr. Greene is survived by his daughter, Jackie Thompson (Rickey); grandchildren Lance Greene, Shawn Lewter (LaDonna), Heather Winnette (Joe), Jonathan Greene, and Christianna Thompson; and great-grandchildren Lily Grace Winnette, Jaxson Brock Winnette, and Avery Rose-Lynn Lewter.
Preceded in death by his parents; wife Pauline Greene; and son Carl Dwight Greene.
Mr. Greene was a great musician and dedicated worker. He loved vacationing in the mountains, and he loved his family.
