Carl Hubbell Parker, age 85, of Ethridge, TN passed away Wednesday, November 29, 2023, at Ascension Saint Thomas Hospital West in Nashville, TN. He was a native of Giles County, TN, retired from Murray Ohio, a farmer, a former Giles County Commissioner, and of the Church of Christ Faith. He also enjoyed gardening, hunting, fishing, hunting arrowheads, and playing baseball.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Hubbell and Alma Reed Parker; and one granddaughter, Kelsey Lee Parker.
He is survived by his wife, Clara Parker of Ethridge, TN; two sons, Kerry Parker and Marty Parker, both of Ethridge, TN; one granddaughter, Kallie Parker of Ethridge, TN; four great-grandchildren, Annzlee, Addica, Acelin, and Anndilynn; one sister, Dorothy Smith of El Paso, TX; niece, Connie Walls of El Paso, TX; and two great-nephews, Parker Walls and Peyton Walls.
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Saturday, December 02, 2023, at Neal Funeral Home. Graveside services and interment will be conducted at Greenwood Cemetery at 1:30 PM Saturday, December 02, 2023, with Corey Bell officiating. The family suggests memorials be made to the Greenwood Cemetery Fund.
