NOVEMBER 2, 1939 – JULY 29, 2019

Carl Edward LaRue, age 79 of Leoma, TN, surrounded by family ‘Went to be with his Lord and Savior’ on July 29, 2019. He was a Vietnam Veteran and was retired from GM. A native of Princeton, West Virginia. Born of the late George Allen and Macie LaRue. Preceded in death by wife Brenda Darlene LaRue. Sisters, Ruth Naomi Vincent, Kathryn Louise LaRue. Brothers, George Allen LaRue, James Franklin LaRue, Charles Thomas LaRue, and Bobby Eugene LaRue. Survived by sisters Pearl Geniva Murray (Homer) Bethel, Ohio, and Shirley Beatrice Lay, Withamsville, Ohio. Also survived by son Lance LaRue (Monica) Summertown, TN and daughters Carla Wilson, Leoma, TN, Lynn Menges, Lawrenceburg, TN, Lee Long (Jeff) Leoma, TN. Cherished Grandfather of eight, Autumn Burleson (Ben), Angie Menges, Justin Toungette, Cayley Wilson, Riley and Anastyn LaRue, Dillon and Lindsay Dabbs. Three Great Grandchildren, Katelynn Burleson, Kynlee Burleson, and Aiden Keeton. Funeral services for Carl Edward LaRue will be conducted at Pettus-Turnbo Funeral Home on Thursday, August 1, 2019 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with Brother Lanier Nail officiating. Interment followed at LaRue Family Cemetery in Leoma. In Lieu of flowers, please donate to Autism Charities and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
