Funeral services for Mr. Carl “Buddy” Dunivan, age 86, are scheduled for 1:00pm Monday, February 5, 2024, in the Chapel of Pafford Funeral Home with burial to follow at Henderson County Memory Gardens. Mr. Dunivan passed away Saturday morning at his home in Lexington. He worked in tool and die and retired from Johnson Controls, after retiring he went to work at Nissan in Smyrna retiring in 1998. The next 7 years he worked at Walmart. He also enjoyed antiqued cars and going to car shows. He was born in Henderson County to the late Bill and Lola Mae Warren Dunivan. He was preceded in death by sons- Tim Dunivan and Marty Dunivan and daughter- Pam Horner; Survivors include wife of 60 years Martha Dodds Dunivan, two daughters- Tanzy Lee Henson (Pete) and Mitzi Wilson (Bart). daughter in law-Janet Dunivan, 8 grandchildren- Nicholas Powers (Ashley), Matt Powers, Joseph Henson (Codie), Savannah Azbill (Lucas), Cheyene Dunivan, Beau Horner, Chad Dunivan (Cristina) and Cody Thompson (Whitney) and 12 great grandchildren. Visitation will be Sunday 10am-5pm, Monday 10am-1pm with Funeral Monday 1pm.in the Chapel.
