Carl Allen Mosley, age 61, passed away on October 3, 2024, in Mt. Pleasant, Tennessee. Born on August 1, 1963, in Columbia, Tennessee, Carl was the son of the late Paul Lewis Mosley and Lena Grace Pratt Mosley. As one of 13 siblings, Carl shared close-knit bonds with his brothers and sisters, creating countless memories together throughout their lives.
A true Maury County native, Carl was known as the life of the party wherever he went. His larger-than-life personality was matched only by his sense of humor, often teasing and playfully nagging his siblings to keep everyone laughing.
An unwavering Alabama Crimson Tide fan, Carl’s dedication to his team was unmatched. Whether sporting his favorite Alabama gear or eagerly watching every game, he embodied the passion of a true fan.
However, Carl’s heart was fullest during the Christmas season, when he spent cherished time with his daughters and extended family. Laughter, good food, card games, and a cold Busch beer in hand were always part of the festivities. His love for these simple, joyful moments with family was at the core of who he was.
Carl leaves behind his beloved daughters, Carla Mosley and Shanalee (Arturo) Arellano, along with his cherished grandchildren: Janessa Crosslin, Johnaleen Crosslin, Diana, Ivy, and Adrian Arellano. He is also survived by his siblings: Paul Mosley, James Mosley, Mary Walton, Winnie (Robert) Sparks, Judy (William) Sparks, Vernon Mosley, Charlie Mosley, Robert (Bonnie) Mosley, Doyle Mosley, Terri (David) Mosley, and sister in law Rita Mosley, as well as numerous nieces and nephews who will fondly remember him.
Carl was preceded in death by his brother Larry Mosley, sister Linda Waller, sister-in-laws Shirley and Sue Mosley, and brother in law Horace Walton. Carl will be deeply missed for his humor, his love for family, and his undeniable Crimson Tide spirit. Roll Tide!
