Rev. Carl Adkins, age 91, of Scottsboro, Alabama passed away on Friday, January 24, 2025.
He is survived by wife, Ramona “Sparkle” Adkins; son, Venson (Sharon) Adkins of Lebanon, TN.; daughters, Taletha Adkins of Meadow Bridge, WV., Carla Adkins of Pisgah, AL., Becky (Brian) Early of Grant, AL.; sister in-law, Ann Adkins; 13 grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Ethel Adkins; brothers, Delbert, Hubert “Duck” and Bobby Adkins; sister, Geraldine Harrah; daughter, Kay Adkins Bohannon.
Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 28, 2025 at Scottsboro Funeral Home with Rev. Brett Hogland officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends beginning at 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
