Carey “Ken” Bakley – Obituary

CareyCarey “Ken” Bakley was born in Ripley, Tennessee on November 4, 1952 the son of Dorothy Inez Lovelace Blakley and the late Carey Franklin Blakley.

Mr. Blakley was united in marriage to Brenda Bailey, who survives.

Ken worked as a general contractor, stock broker, real estate broker and a sales consultant. He was a former resident of Ripley, Tennessee, Fillmore, California and Germantown, Tennessee. Ken was a member of Boys Club, Germantown Methodist Church and Pickwick United Methodist Church. He loved playing golf and being on the water. Ken donated to numerous charities especially the Boys Club, St. Jude and under privilege children.

He departed this life on October 22, 2013 in Counce, Tennessee at the age of 60 years, 11 months and 18 days.

In addition to his wife, Brenda of Counce, Tennessee, he is survived by his children, Carey Justin Blakley of Ft. Wayne, Indiana and Carey Stallings Blakley of Atlanta, Georgia

one grandchild, Raegan Casey of Ft. Wayne, Indiana

his mother, Dorothy Inez Blakley of Ripley, Tennessee
