MOULTON-ALEA has issued a statement concerning the death of a Danville man due to a single-vehicle crash:
“A single-vehicle crash at 6:15 p.m. today, Feb. 6, has claimed the life of a Danville man.
Stephen Andrew Smith, 32, was killed when the 2003 Chevrolet Trailblazer he was driving left the roadway, struck a tree, and overturned. Smith, who was not using a seat belt, was ejected and pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash occurred on Lawrence County 200 at the intersection of Lawrence County 210, ten miles south of Moulton.
Nothing further is available as Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.”
