Candelaria Andres, age 47, passed away on Thursday, July 27, 2023, at UAB Hospital surrounded by her family.
She was a sweet and caring woman, loving, protective, strong, selfless, beautiful, and happy. She loved her husband and children very much.
She was preceded in death by her father, Miguel Jose; sisters-in-law, Petrona and Micaela; and mother-in-law, Juana Andres.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of 31 years, Diego Andres; children, Miguel Andres, Diego Andres Jr. (Celenne Lopez-Andres), Tomas Andres, Cecilia Andres; grandchildren, Valerie Andres, Yazmin Lopez; mother, Angelina Francisco; siblings, Juana Francisco, Roberto Francisco; and a host of nieces & nephews.
The family will have a family time on Sunday, July 28, 2023, at Spry Memorial Chapel, before transporting to Good Shepherd Catholic Church at 6:00 p.m. where the body will lie in state overnight. A 9:00 a.m. funeral mass will be Monday, July 29, 2023, at Good Shepherd Catholic Church. Father Vincent Bresowar will officiate the service. The burial will be at Franklin Memory Gardens.
The pallbearers will be Miguel Andres, Diego Andres, Jr., Tomas Andres, Diego Andres, Sr., David Tomas, Raul Tomas, Tomas Miguel, and Frank Miguel.
