Candy, a beacon of love and strength, passed away at the age of 55, on March 29th at Cullman Regional Medical Center surrounded by her family. She was a remarkable woman whose life was a true testament to living fully, loving deeply, and caring selflessly for others.

Born on April 19, 1969, Candy’s greatest joy was her family. She was a nurturing and devoted mother, always providing her children with love, guidance, and support. Her heart was even fuller when it came to her beloved grandchildren, who brought her endless happiness. She cherished every moment spent with them, creating memories that will be treasured forever. Her kindness knew no bounds. Candy was always willing to help others, offering her time, her heart, and her wisdom to anyone in need. Her warmth and generosity left a lasting impact on everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

Even in the face of illness, Candy’s strength and resilience shined through. She fought her battle with grace and courage, never giving up and inspiring those around her. Candy’s legacy of love, kindness, and devotion will live on in the hearts of her family and friends. Though she is no longer physically with us, her spirit will continue to guide and inspire those who were blessed to know her.

Survivors include her children, Haley (Chris) Horn, Alex (Lynnsie) Jacobs and Katie (Hunter Nelson) Jacobs; grandchildren, Ella Horn, Lenly Nelson, Jaxson Jacobs, Karrigan Jacobs, Olivia Horn, Beckett Jacobs and Lainey Nelson; niece, Madison Norman; nephew, Sam Norman; sister-in-law, Karen Norman; and a host of cousins, aunts and uncles.
