Cameron Lane Parker, 48, of Starkville, MS, passed away on July 21, 2024. He was born on September 19, 1975, to Linda and Hal Parker of Bolton, MS. Cameron was married to Dianna Parker, with whom he shared a beautiful life and three beloved children, Heath, Logan and RileyJ (Riley).

Cameron is preceded in death by his grandparents, Hattie and Roy Parker of Summit, MS, Mary Catherine and Leon Foran of Marvell, AR; aunts and uncles; Joy Smith and Burley Smith of Yazoo City, MS, Terry Foran of Marvell, AR, Gene Gooch of Brandon, MS, and his cousin Patrick Neary of West Lafayette, IN.

He is survived by his loving spouse, Dianna; children, Heath, Logan and RileyJ (Riley); parents, Linda and Hal Parker; brother, Brandon Parker (Laurie) of Brandon, MS, niece and nephew, Anna Payton and Brandon Hal; aunts and uncles; Phyllis Tackitt (Jess) of Bolton, MS, Jean Everhart (Larry) of Austin, AR, Gail Gooch of Brandon, MS, Donald Foran of Marvell, AR and Ray Foran of Marvell, AR. A loving extended family also survives him.

Cameron earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Mississippi State University in 2018. He was deeply devoted to his alma mater and an enthusiastic supporter of all things MSU. His affiliation with MSU athletics brought him a lifetime of fellowship and enjoyment.

Cameron and Dianna made their home in Starkville, where Cameron was passionate about making the community one of the best places to live or visit. He was a lover of music, amassing an impressive collection of vinyl records, and he developed a love for cooking from an early age, learning his culinary skills at deer camp from Frank Develle. An avid outdoorsman, Cameron also cherished his friendships with people from all walks of life.

Above all, Cameron will be remembered for his deep love for his family. He was gentle and kind, and his compassion resonated throughout his life.

While there will be no public memorial service, the family will receive friends at a visitation scheduled for Friday, August 9, 2024, from 3-6 p.m. at The Mill at MSU, 600 Russell Street, Starkville, Mississippi (The parking garage is behind the south side of The Mill).
