Calvin Wayne Dahlke Calvin Wayne Dahlke passed away Wednesday, September the seventh, after a short illness, and passed with his family at his side. Wayne was born on September the sixteenth in nineteen-thirty-seven to Troye and Emil Dahlke of Cullman, Alabama. Wayne graduated from Cullman High School, and then received his bachelor’s degree in aeronautical engineering from Georgia Tech, and his master’s degree from the University of Alabama in Huntsville, retiring from successful careers with the Army Missile Command and Dynetics Inc. Wayne was proceeded in death by his parents and is survived by his wife of sixty-three years (Anne Dahlke), his sister (Sharon Dugan), his son Brad Dahlke (Jennifer Dahlke), his daughter Dana Short (Bobby Short), and his daughter Kerrie Key (Mark Key). Wayne is also survived by his five grandchildren, including Chad Key (Carlee Key), Chelsea Judd (Philip Judd), McKenzie Dahlke, Carlie Dahlke, and Meredith Short, along with two great-grandchildren, Mason Key and Hallie Tate. Pallbearers will be Nicky Earwood, Eddy Earwood, Taylor Dugan, Greg Dugan, Philip Judd, and Chad Key. Services will be held on Monday, September the twelfth at two o’clock in the afternoon, with visitation beginning at twelve-thirty at Legacy Funeral Home:16 Hughes Road, Madison, AL, 35758. The burial will take place at Huntsville Memory Gardens: 6810 University Drive NW Huntsville, AL, 35806.
