On August 22, 2024, Calvin L. Ingram completed his journey of life. He was born May 17, 1954, to Louise Barnes and Edward Shears in Anniston, AL. He graduated from Cobb High School class of 1972. He was a member of 16th Street Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his wife Linda Tippins Ingram; parents, Louise Barnes and Edward Shears; siblings, Tyrone Shears and Sharon Shears; and sister-in-law Katherlean Shears.
Calvins memories will forever be cherished by his children, Zakeia (John) Glass, Shanika (Andrew) Bolton; Kaila Johnson; grandchildren, Marli and Willow Glass; siblings, Edward Ingram of Anniston, AL, Gregory Shears, Edward Shears, Ronald (Susan) Shears, Wilburn Shears, Hollis (Kim) Shears, Dexter (Varenia) Shears, Jacqueline Golden and Vanessa Shears; bonus mother, Betty Shears all of Roanoke, VA, Cedric (Tracy) Alexander of New Port News, VA; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
There will be a viewing on Thursday, August 29, 2024, at Cremation Services of East Alabama, 733 White Plains Road, Anniston, AL from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM. A grave side service will follow at 1:00 PM at Edgemont Cemetery in Anniston, AL. The family would like to thank Jacksonville Health and Rehab staff.
