Calvin Dean Pratt, age 72, of Summertown, TN passed away Saturday, March 04, 2017 at his residence. He was a native of Lawrence County, TN, and a retired truck driver.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin Dewey “Mutt” and Emma Jane Woodward Pratt; three brothers, Thomas Pratt, Dewey Pratt, and Charles Pratt; two sisters, Mildred Pratt Davis and Margaret Pratt Inman; and one great-grandson, Jameson Zane Bobo.
He is survived by wife of 50 years, Patsy Hickman Pratt of Summertown, TN; one daughter, Cynthia Pratt (Charles Howell) of Summertown, TN; one granddaughter, Kendra Pratt Briggs (Chris Stricklin) of Summertown, TN; two grandsons, Hunter Pratt Briggs and Dakota Pratt Briggs both of Summertown, TN; one brother, Jim Pratt (Beverly) of Lawrenceburg, TN; two sisters, Wanda Pratt and Marie Grooms both of Ethridge, TN; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces, great-great-nephews, and several that he has always considered his daughters, granddaughters, and grandsons that are friends with his daughter and grandchildren.
Those serving as pallbearers are Terry Don Casteel, Don Casteel, Brian Perry, Randy Howell, Tristian Taylor, and Jacob McKinney.
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday, March 07, 2017 at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 3:00 PM Wednesday, March 08, 2017, with Mickey Brackin officiating. Interment will follow at Liberty Hill Cemetery in Giles County, TN.
