Funeral for Caitlyn Breann Martin, 17, of Hatton will be Sunday, May 5, 2013, at 2 p.m. at Hatton Church of Christ with Bro. Chris Miller and Ben Phillips officiating and Lawrence Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Masterson Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the church. The body will be at the church one hour prior to the service.
Miss Martin died Tuesday, April 30, 2013, in Town Creek. She was born January 9, 1996, in Decatur to Matt and Tara Kidd Martin. Caitlyn was in the 11th grade at Hatton High School and a member of Hatton Church of Christ.
Survivors include her parents, Matt and Tara Martin of Hatton; sister, Alison Martin of Hatton; grandparents, Wade and Sherrie Martin of Lagrange and Donald and Vicki Jones Kidd of Hatton; great-grand- parents, Mildred Kidd and Frank and Doris Pasley, all of Hatton; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Pallbearers will be Austin Mardis, Ben Patterson, Brock Rutherford, Braden Jackson, Trenton Terry, Colt Montgomery, Bentley Terry and Clint Smith. Honorary pallbearers will be 2012 Cross Country Team, Thomas Rutherford and Nathan Berryman.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to Hatton Church of Christ Building Fund for a playground in Caitlyn’s memory.
