Caitlyn Breann Martin, 17, of Hatton, Ala., died Tuesday, April 30, 2013, in a car accident in Town Creek, Ala. She was born Jan. 9, 1996, in Decatur, Ala. She was in the eleventh grade at Hatton High School.
She is survived by parents, Matt and Tara Kidd Martin, Hatton, Ala.; sister, Alison Martin, Hatton, Ala.; grandparents, Wade and Sherrie Martin, Lagrange, Ala., and Donald and Vicki Jones Kidd, Hatton, Ala.; great-grandparents, Mildred Kidd, Hatton, Ala. and Frank and Doris Pasley, Hatton, Ala.; numerous aunts; uncles; and cousins.
Caitlyn was a member of Hatton Church of Christ.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Saturday, May 4, 2013, at Hatton Church of Christ. The funeral service will be 2 p.m. Sunday, May 5, 2013, at Hatton Church of Christ, with burial in Masterson Cemetery. Brother Chris Miller and Ben Phillips will officiate. Pallbearers will be Austin Mardis, Ben Patterson, Brock Rutherford, Braden Jackson, Trenton Terry, Colt Montgomery, Bentley Terry and Clint Smith. Honorary pallbearers will be the 2012 Cross Country Team, Thomas Rutherford and Nathan Berryman. The body will lie in state at Hatton Church of Christ Sunday, May 5, 2013, from 1-2 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Hatton Church of Christ Building Fund for a playground in Caitlyn’s memory
