TUSCUMBIA-The Cains Trio, a dynamic young vocal group hitting the charts for the first time with their debut single “Be Yourself with Me,” will be appearing at the Alabama Music Hall of Fame at 7 p.m. Tuesday, February 17, 2015.
Natives of Hartselle, AL, the group is composed of siblings Taylor, Madison
and Logan Cain, all graduates of Troy University. They began singing together as children. They are not only singers and songwriters, but also multifaceted entertainers and musicians who play the guitar, piano, bass, harmonica and more.
Recording in the Shoals area with Billy Lawson, the trio hit the Nashville Music Row charts late in 2014, and are still climbing. They have performed in the Shoals during the W.C. Handy Music Festival, as well as the Muscle Shoals to Music Row webcast.
“This is a great opportunity to see the fast rising act in the close and personal environment of the Alabama Music Hall of Fame lobby.” said Dixie Griffin, AMHOF manager. “This group is on their way to a great music career, and they are from Alabama. It is important for the Alabama Music Hall of Fame to promote and encourage new acts,” said Griffin.
