Byron Miller Byron Miller, 77 of Arab died Thursday December 7, 2023 in Huntsville Hospital. Mr. Miller was born October 11, 1946 in Arab the son of Alton Byron Miller and Berta Lou Allen Miller. He was a graduate of Arab High School, Class of 1965 and a devoted member of Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church, serving as Deacon since 1980. Shortly after his graduation he and the former Joan Black were wed June 9, 1967, sharing 56 years together. Byron retired after 31 years at Chrysler and was honorably discharged from the Army National Guard. Those of you who knew Byron were aware of his enjoyment of hunting, and especially him being an avid fox hunter. But his greatest love was for his family, especially the grandkids, and his church family.

He is survived by his wife: Joan Miller, children: Lori Robles (John), John Miller (Tina), three grandchildren: Collins Miller (Courtney), Kyle Robles and Katherine Robles; great grandchild: Macoy Miller; a brother: Jimmy Miller (Judy); nephew: Dusty Miller (Tonya), niece: Caleigh Hart (Tyler), other family members and many dear friends and neighbors.

A Memorial Service will be held for Byron at the Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church on Saturday, December 16, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. Serving as Honorary Pallbearers will be the Deacons of the church. Gober Funeral Chapel assisting in completion of cremation arrangements. His will be laid to rest at the Hopewell Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until service time at 2:00 p.m. at the church.
