Funeral for Burna Lee Cline, 72, Courtland, will be Friday, Sept. 12, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Elliott Funeral Home, with Bro. Keith Collier officiating. Burial will be at Old Bethel Cemetery.
Visitation wil be thursday night from 6 to 9 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Cline, who died Monday, September 8, 2014 was born on December 2, 1941 in Lawrence County to Joe Reeves and Ora Lee Glenn Reeves.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward “Buddy” Cline, her parents, brother Dirven Dale Reeves, sister, Margaret Grizzard, brother, Marvin Glenn and stepfather, William Grissom.
Survivors include five daughters, Sheila Porter (Sam) of Courtland, Patricia “Cissy” Cline of Courtland, Mylinda “Lindy” Cline of Clourtland, Jannett Mears (Preston) of Courtland and Amanda Dumas of Danville. One son, C. C. “Buddy” Cline (Kim) of Courtland. Eight grandchildren, P. J. Mears, Dustin Mears, Ashley Mears, Stephanie Richey, Ben Dumas,Lonnie Dumas, LeeAnn Holt and Amber Porter. Thireen great grandchildren, Briar Holt, Haley Mears, Blake Mears, Hunter Mears, Eastyn Mears, Savannah Romans, Ameya Hammond, Shyann Richey, Riley Richey, Brooklynn Priest, Wyatt Ransom, Jayden Dumas and Dalton Gay
Pallbearers, Briar Holt, Ben Dumas, Lonnie Dumas, P J. Mears, Dustin Mears, Josh Holt and David Boyd.
Honorary pallbearers, Sam Porter, Preston Mears, Benny Dumas, Maurice Peden, Andrew Cooper, Russel McGregor and the great grandchildren.
