Funeral service for Buddy Posey, 83, will be Saturday, August 4, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Peck Funeral Home with Bro. Ben Bates and Bro. Ralph Henderson officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in New Center Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, August 3, 2018 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.
Mr. Posey died on Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at his residence. He was born July 12, 1935, in Morgan County to Henry Allen Posey and Bessie Snow. Buddy loved his family dearly and enjoyed helping people whenever he could. He loved music and playing guitar. He was an great mechanic and was a member of New Center Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife: Mary Elizabeth Milam Posey, his parents, a son: Kelvis Posey, a brother: Doc Posey, a sister: Bertha Wood and a grandchild: Carl Blankenship, Jr.
