Rev. Bryce Allen Blair
He was born in Plainfield New Jersey and Graduated High School from South Plainfield High in 1959. He received his masters of Divinity in 1974 from Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary, and a Doctorate of Ministry in 1996 from Andover Newton Theological School. He served in the American Baptist, United Methodist and Evangelical Lutheran Churches in New York State, Massachusetts and Alabama. He served as Chaplin in the Chemung County Civil Air Patrol, and he served as a member of the Massachusetts council of Christian Unity. He participated in ecumenical studies in Switzerland and Italy including a private audience with Pope John Paul II. His hobbies included Golf, reading and spending time with his family. He was a member of the Brotherhood of St Andrew of the Episcopal Church of the Epiphany and lector and a member of choir; he also performed with the Mt, Valley singers and choral performances at the Whole Back Stage.
He is survived by his Wife: Cheryl Pierce Blair, Daughter: Michelle Decker Gardner (Guy), Daughter Melody Baker (Darryl) Two Grand Children Gwen and Dain Baker, Cousin: Ramona McKinney, Brothers: Bruce Blair of New Jersey, Wayne Blair (Kathy) of New Hampshire. Nemours Nieces and Nephews
The Funeral Service will be held November 19, 2022 11a.m. at the Episcopal Church of the Epiphany, with committal following service in the memorial garden.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to shepherds cove hospice, Albertville, Alabama or to the Episcopal Church of the epiphany music department
