Bryan Byars, 88 a lifelong resident of Corinth passed away on Tuesday, August 20, 2024 peacefully with his family by his side. A Family celebration visitation will be held Friday, August 30, 2024 from 12pm -2pm at Magnolia Funeral Home – EAST followed by a graveside service at Henry Cemetery. Mr. Byars was born October 31, 1935 in Corinth, MS to Garner and Margaret Estes Byars. Upon graduation from Mississippi State University, he worked in Memphis, TN , as an accountant while fulfilling his obligation in the U.S. Air Force Reserve. Upon moving home to Corinth, he joined the workforce at ITT Communications. Leading up to his retirement, Mr. Byars served in several accounting managerial positions. After retirement Bryan enjoyed volunteer service with the Alzheimer’s group, Sharing Hearts, Hospice (Ascera Care), mentoring at Project Attention and Combs Court, and as a special needs assistant. Opportunities to “help out” at his church, First Baptist of Corinth, were some of his happiest times. Byran is survived by his daughter, Beverly Byars Jones (Larry); brothers, Robert Estes Byars (Judy) and Timothy Scott Byars (Cecilia); his most dearest love and friend, Patricia Trianum; other relatives and a host of friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Garner and Margaret Estes Byars and his sister, Margaret Anne Matthews.
