Bruce Wilburn Rodgers, age 57, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Saturday, May 04, 2024, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN. He was a native of Lawrence County, TN, retired from Walmart, and of the Christian Faith. He enjoyed listening to music and watching old movies, but most of all he loved taking care of his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Lillie Robertson Rodgers.
He is survived by his wife, Maxine “Liz” Rodgers; two sons, Matthew Rodgers and William Rodgers; one daughter, Lillie Rodgers, all of Lawrenceburg, TN; three brothers, Jimmy Rodgers (Laura Eugenia), Jessie Rodgers (Lisa), and Wayne Rodgers (Stephanie); three sisters, Virginia Gale Brewer, Mary Roy (Mike), and Marilyn Rodgers; his best friend, Lee Dowden; family pet, Frosty; several nieces and nephews.
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday, May 08, 2024, at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Thursday, May 09, 2024, with Ray Luffman officiating. Interment will follow at Houser Cemetery in Lawrenceburg, TN.
