Bruce Saxton was born June 1, 1932 in McNairy County, TN the son of the late Charles Grady and Zettie Elizabeth Forsythe Saxton. He was united in marriage to Dovie Mae Williams King Saxton who preceded him in death on February 13, 2003.
Mr. Saxton was a Logger. He was a hard working family man whose priority was his family and their wellbeing. He departed this life on January 13, 2016 in Jackson, TN at the age of 83 Years, 7 Months, 12 Days.
He is survived by a son, Jerry Wayne Saxton and wife Martha Louise of Bethel Springs, TN; two grandsons, Jeffery and Anthony Saxton; a great granddaughter, Alyssa Saxton; two stepsons, James King of Bethel Springs, TN, Bobby King of St. Louis, MO; a stepdaughter, Margie King of St. Louis, MO; two sisters, Betty Pace of Bethel Springs, TN, Lue Dean Collins of Bethel Springs, TN; three brothers, Paul Saxton of Bethel Springs, TN, Johnnie Saxton and wife Geneva of Farmington, MO, Thomas Saxton and wife Betty of Bethel Springs, TN.
In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Saxton was preceded in death by a stepson, Wendell King; a stepdaughter, Sarah Elizabeth Pinkley; two brothers, Charles Edward Saxton, Alva Dean Saxton; a stepbrother, Virgil King.
