On Sunday, November 20, 2022, Bruce Lynn Smith of Munford, Al passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family.
A memorial service will be held 2pm, Sunday, November 27th at Bethlehem Baptist Church, 142 Bethlehem Church Road, Oxford, Al.
The family will receive friends at the church beginning at 1pm.
Bruce was born on August 23, 1955 in Bainbridge Maryland, and graduated high school in Key West, FL.
He was preceded in death by LCDR William R. Smith(Father), Jarred Smith(Son), Karen Smith(Sister), Ava Smith(Granddaughter) & nephews Adam & Austin Smith.
He was survived by his wife of 31 yrs, Cyndi Nelson Smith, Sarah Moore(Daughter), Jordan Smith(Son), Irene Smith(Mother) & Grandchildren Levi Moore, Layla Moore, Liam Moore, Aidan Smith, Alissa Smith & Austyn and Amberly Smith, Sisters Cheri Smith and Diana Crews(Steve), brother Robert Smith(Debbie) & several nieces & nephews.
He received Christ as his Savior as a teenager & was baptized at Salt Creek.
He was a devoted husband and a loving father, PawPaw, brother & son.
He loved spending time at the beach with family and going deep sea fishing with friends.
He was owner of Bruce Smith Masonry and was a very dedicated worker in the construction field throughout his life.
