Bruce Daryle FindleyStep right up and celebrate the life of Bruce Findley, a true fairground legend who took his final ride on March 30, 2025, at the age of 76. Born on September 8, 1948, in Bessemer, AL, Bruce spent his life traveling the country, bringing joy and excitement to fairgoers everywhere. Whether he was giving kids their first pony ride or sending thrill-seekers soaring on the Super Loop, he made every stop along the way unforgettable. His heart was as big as the Ferris wheel, his humor as sharp as a well-honed dart, and his love for his family as steady as the carousel’s turn.

Bruce is survived by his beloved wife, Melissa Findley, his children, and grandchildren who will forever cherish the memories of a man who made life feel like a grand adventure. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Liza Findley, who no doubt welcomed him with open arms. Though his journey on this earth has ended, his spirit lives on in every flashing midway light, every carousel tune, and every moment of wonder he brought to those around him. So, in his honor, take a spin on the Ferris wheel, enjoy some cotton candy, and remember—life is meant to be a wild, wonderful ride.

Rest easy, Bruce—your ticket has been punched for the greatest fair of them all.

His Family will hold a private celebration of life ceremony at a later date.

Berryhill Funeral Home assisted the family.
