Bruce Crowe, age 102, of Rienzi, Mississippi passed away on Sunday, December 10, 2023. Bruce was born in Thrashers, MS to Dessie Floyd Crowe and Clyde Crowe.Bruce is survived by his son Ellis Crowe (Glenda); his daughter Hellen Adair (Tom Craig); his daughter Barbara Lowrey; his daughter Janet Long (Mike); and his daughter-in-law Jodie Crowe; his brother Howard Crowe, his brother Gene Crowe and his brother Merle Crowe (Madine); his grandchild David Lancaster, his grandchild Nina Jones, his grandchild Bruce Dodds, his grandchild Shane Crowe, his grandchild Pam Wills and his grandchild Pat Crowe.
Bruce was preceded in death by his wife Geneva Crowe; his son Vernon Crowe and his son-in-law Dillard Lowrey; his father Clyde Crowe and his mother Dessie Floyd Crowe; his sister Maxine Crowe; his sister Junior Hawfree Crowe Hendrix; his brother Billy Crowe and his brother Jack Crowe; his grandchild Timothy Edward Crowe.
Mr. Crowe also leaves behind 12 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
A visitation for Bruce will be held Tuesday, December 12, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at McMillan Funeral Home. A a celebration of life will occur Wednesday, December 13, 2023 at 2:00 PM, 702 W College St, Booneville, Mississippi 38829. A graveside with military honors will occur Wednesday, December 13, 2023 at Sardis Cemetery, CR 450, Rienzi, MS.
Serving as pallbearers are Shane Crowe, Sean Tyler Crowe, Pat Crowe, Bruce Dodds, Tanner Dodds, Logan Dodds, David Lancaster, Dylan Lancaster, Matt Jones, Forrest Crowe and David Thornton.
