Brooke Ariel Cowart, 29, of Huntsville, passed away Tuesday, November 29, 2022 while surrounded by her family. Brooke was born on April 28, 1993 at Eglin Air Force Base, FL to Lynn and Traci Hussong. Lynn served in the United States Air Force, so the family lived in Florida, Alaska, Utah, and Tennessee. Brooke loved to be outdoors participating in everything from hiking, long walks with family, water activities, and playing sports.
In high school Brooke played varsity soccer, ran track and cross country, and was a member of the dance team. She graduated from Sequatchie County high school in 2011. She always had a passion and love for spending time with family and made sure every family gathering and occasion was a special memory.
Brooke and her husband, Ryan, met on a blind date set up by their grandmothers. They immediately fell in love and were later married on June 16, 2013. Brooke and Ryan shared a mutual love for travelling and seeking out new adventures that led them to multiple destinations around the world. Most of all, Brooke lived a Christ-centered life as she lived out her greatest adventure of all; being a mother to three children. Their three children were the apple of her eye and will continue to be her living legacy. Brooke’s generous and selfless spirit was visible in her final earthly act of love as she went home to be with her Lord.
Brooke is survived by her husband of 9 years, Ryan; and their three children, Hadlie (6), Daxton (2), and Blair (1 week); her parents, Lynn and Traci Hussong of Lewisburg, TN; her brother, Brett Hussong and wife, Lauren of Rockwall, TX; grandfather, Tom, of Winchester, TN; and grandmother, Rosie Dooley of Irwin, OH. Brooke was preceded in death by her grandmother, Barbara Myers by one day.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at Whitesburg Baptist Church Main Campus. The funeral will immediately follow the visitation with Pastor Darryl Craft officiating. Interment will be held at Valhalla Memory Gardens.
