Brittany Nan Weatherwax, 32, of Moulton passed away Wednesday, August 23, 2023 at her home. A graveside service will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 26, 2023 at Cheatham Cemetery with Pastor Edward Brand officiating and Lawrence Funeral Home directing.
Born on March 3, 1991 to Joseph and Tammy Thrasher Weatherwax, Brittany graduated from Lawrence County High School and Calhoun Community College. A member of the Church of Christ, she was a huge Harry Potter fan and adored her nieces and nephews.
Survivors include her mother; brothers, Chris (Stacey) Dutton, Jason (Sadie) Dutton, and Alan (Elexus) Weatherwax; niece, Rebel Zills; nephews, Carson Dutton, Marshall Weatherwax, Ira Weatherwax, Cade Weatherwax, and Ryken Zills; her best friend and service dog, Sam; and several other extended family.
Brittany was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Weatherwax, Sr.
Pallbearers will be Chris Dutton, Jason Dutton, Alan Weatherwax, Josh Mote, Justin Sparks, and Nick Coan.
The family extends special thanks to her nurses and staff at Southern Care Hospice for their wonderful care.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude’s in Brittany’s memory.
