Brian Shawn Thompson, age 50, of Loretto, TN passed away Wednesday, April 07, 2021, at Tristar Summit Medical Center in Hermitage, TN. He was a native of Lawrenceburg, TN, self-employed auto body technician, and a member of Leoma Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Elmer and Plura Wix; and Agnes Thompson.
He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Betsy Thompson of Loretto, TN; one daughter, Brittney Harbison (Michael) of Leoma, TN; one son, Brandon Thompson (Jessica) of Loretto, TN; his mother, Carolyn Thompson of Lawrenceburg, TN; his father, Jimmy Thompson of Three Oaks Community; three sisters, Kim Dotson (Chris) of Lawrenceburg, TN, Maegan Thompson of Nashville, TN, and Holly Thompson of Nashville, TN; six grandchildren, Parker, Maddie, Delilah, Ady, Delaney, and Aycen; two nieces, Kari Taylor and Winter Newton; and one nephew, Steven Taylor.
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday, April 09, 2021, at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 3:00 PM Saturday, April 10, 2021, with David Simmerman officiating. Interment will follow at Brace Cemetery in Lawrence County, TN.
