Brian Patrick Faulkner – Obituary

brian Corporal Brian Patrick Faulkner, 35, of Tuscumbia, Alabama entered Heaven after suffering injuries from a motorcycle accident which occurred Sunday, March 9, 2014.
     Brian is survived by Heather Uhlman Faulkner, his loving wife, of 16 years, and his beloved son Blake Patrick Faulkner, his parents Michael and Pat Faulkner of Muscle Shoals, and his brother, Mark and wife Amanda, Florence, Alabama.
Brian, a member of Woodward Avenue Baptist Church and a 1996 graduate of Muscle Shoals High School, studied criminal justice at the University of North Alabama. He served his community for four years as an Alabama State Trooper and for the last six years as a corporal for the Alabama Bureau of Investigation. He previously served in the Colbert County District Attorney’s office where he orchestrated grand jury cases.
     Brian was an avid Auburn fan, loved music of all kinds, and enjoyed boating and anything that allowed him to be outdoors. Most of all, Brian was a devoted father, adoring husband, and the epitome of a family man. Brain will always be remembered for his kind smile, his caring heart, his quick wit and dry sense of humor. He had numerous friends from every walk of life.
     The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Friday, March 21, 2014 at Morrison Funeral Home in Tuscumbia, Alabama. The funeral will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 22,2014 at Highland Park Baptist Church in Muscle Shoals with Reverend Brett Pittman officiating and Dr. Tom Whatley and Randall Parker assisting.
     Pallbearers include Trooper Shane Fleming, Corporal Andy Jones, Corporal Rodney Knight, Corporal Bill Burke, Trooper Joe McDonald, Corporal Joe Parish, Sergeant Kent Donaldson, and Trooper Michael Hildred. Honorary Pallbearers include Agent Bill Laprad, Trooper Terry Thomas, Trooper Billy Pruitt, Lieutenant Wade Pruitt, Sergeant Bradley Renfroe, and Corporal Dwight Thompson.
     The family would like to thank Huntsville Hospital and the wonderful staff on the NICU floor and Dr. Pickett for his excellent care. We would like to thank our family and friends for all the love, prayers, support, time, and gifts of love. We especially thank the Alabama State Troopers, and The Alabama Bureau of Investigation staff for their round-the-clock care, support, and attention during this trying time.
