Brian Nelson Dutton, 45, of Decatur, AL passed away Tuesday afternoon, Nov 28, 2023 at Decatur Morgan Hospital.
Brian was born July 30, 1978 in Decatur, AL to William Allen Dutton and Donna Tapscott Barnes.
He was a loving Christian husband, father, son, brother and uncle. He was a 1997 graduate of Austin High School. He was a talented athlete, musician, artist and friend. He was employed at PrimetalsTechnologies in Decatur as Quality/Safety Coordinator for 21 years.
Proceeding him in death was his father, William Allen Dutton, Athens, AL & John Mark Barnes, Decatur, AL.
Survivors include his wife, Bethany Turner Dutton , Decatur, AL. Mother, Donna Tapscott Barnes, Decatur and Mae Smith Dutton,Athens, AL and
Daughter Brylee Betancourt and son Weston Dutton, Decatur, AL. Son-in-law Zac Betancourt, Decatur, AL.
2 grandsons Jaxon and Raiden Betancourt and a granddaughter on the way Hadleigh- Anne Nelson Betancourt.
Grandfather Don Tapscott, Hartselle.
Brother and sister-in-law Brandon and Jamie Dutton, Hartselle, AL. Niece Chaney Dutton and nephews Coen and Casen Dutton Hartselle.
