Brenda Sue Tipps Prince, age 79 of Estill Springs, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 6, 2024, at Betty’s Place in Huntland. Brenda was born on November 26, 1944, in Winchester, to the late Carl Raymond and Janie Bernice (Moorehead) Tipps. She was a 1962 class graduate of Franklin County High School. Brenda was a hairdresser for many years in Winchester. She was a devoted member of Harris Chapel United Methodist Church and was one of the founding members of the church choir. Brenda enjoyed playing Rook with her Sr. Citizen friends, watching old TV shows, working crossword and word search puzzles, and cooking wonderful meals for her family to enjoy. She will be remembered by her family as a lady with a witty since of humor but yet very orderly and had a sweet tooth for oatmeal cream pies. She is survived by her sister, Judith Tipps Wimley; brother, Chuck Tipps; nieces, Diana Sweeten, Charity (Jackie) Robinson, Kaylee (Preston) Martin, Kristen (Will) McNutt, Kassidy (Caleb) Limbaugh; nephew, Keaton Tipps; great nieces and great nephews, Athena Sweeten, Marynn Spurlock, Myla Ladd, Matlyn Robinson, Brayden Martin, Evan Brown, Charlee Martin, Remi McNutt, Nora McNutt and Chandler Martin. Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 14, 2024, from 1:00pm – 3:00pm at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home with funeral service following at 3:00pm from the chapel. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Gardens with Keaton Tipps, Preston Martin, Brayden Martin, Evan Brown, Will McNutt, and Caleb Limbaugh all serving as pallbearers.
