MRS. BRENDA SUE PIERCE HOLCOMB, age 57 of Centre passed away Sunday April 26 at Riverview Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held 1 P.M. Wednesday at the Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Weaver and Rev. James Rainey officiating. Burial will follow in the Hebron Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 P.M. Tuesday.
Survivors include a son, Eddie (Ronda) Holcomb of Centre; daughter, Tina (Chris) Hamilton of Centre; chosen daughters, Stacey Chesnut, Centre and Janet Brooks, Fort Payne; brothers, Stanley (Linda) Pierce of Summerville, GA; sisters, Barbara (Joe) Dickens of Leesburg, Betty (Charles) Lands of Fort Payne; grandchildren, Katie Holcomb, Blake Cothran, Kyle Cagle, William Hamilton, Brittany Hamilton; sisters-in-law, Sister Holcomb, Beele King, Liz McGatha, Pam Holcomb, Debbie Holcomb, Dene Pierce, Frances Pierce; brothers-in-law, Edgar Gentry, Darryl Holcomb, Pedro Holcomb, Pete Holcomb, Kenneth Holcomb, Sonny Holcomb, Johnny Holcomb; special friends, Maxine Thompson and Rita Johnson; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ed Junior Holcomb; son, Edward Lee Holcomb; brothers, Charles, Larry and Bernie Pierce; sisters, Helen Gentry, Elouise Hanson, Geneva Boyung, Lillian Graham.
Mrs. Holcomb was a native of Cherokee County, the daughter of the late Floyd and Violet Gossett Pierce and was a member of the Union Congregational Methodist Church.
