Brenda Sue Batchelor, age 75, Double Springs, AL. passed away Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at her home surrounded by her husband and children. She was a member of South Haleyville Church of God. She loved the Lord, her church family, and her family and friends.
Visitation will be Friday, June 2, 2023 1:30PM – 2:00pm at Pinkard Funeral Home in Haleyville, AL. Funeral service at 2:00PM in the chapel, with Bro. Frankie Miller officiating. Burial to follow in Winston Memorial Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband, Jimmy Neal Batchelor; children, Wendell Scott, Reneigh (Bubba) Haney and Angela Franks; step children, Sharon Neely, Dennis Pace and Michael Evans; grandchildren, John Haney III, Ashley Benson, Jacob Honey, Alex Benson, Nicholas Batchelor; step grandchildren, Stephanie Stevens,, Amanda Dotson, Chasta Yarbrough, Crystal Dodd and Jeremy Hood; a host of great grandchildren and step great grandchildren; sister, Mavis Young.
She was preceded inn death by parents, James Monroe and Perlie Mae Martin; brothers, Bryce Martin and Travis Martin; sisters, Ora Lee Tyrce, Dora Lee Lewis, Bernice Dubosis, Racine Gable and Margie Turner; step sons, Christopher Batchelor, Jimmy Luther Batchelor and Tony Evans; step daughter, Martha Jane Hood.
