Brenda Rose Hamm,74, resident of Corinth, passed away peacefully December 30, 2022, at Corner Stone Health and Rehabilition Center in Corinth following an extended illness.

Funeral Services honoring Mrs. Hamm’s life are private.

Mrs. Hamm was born April 11, 1948, in Rienzi, MS, to the late Wylie Thomas and Mamie Louise Howard Rose and received her education from Biggersville High School. She was a homemaker for all of her life and took pride in caring for her much adored husband and children. A Christian and member of Pleasant Hill Pentecostal Church, Mrs. Hamm was a very faithful woman who knew her Lord and Savior.

Blessed with very skillful hands, sewing homemade pieces and growing beautiful flowers and delicious vegetables to give to her church family and friends were favorite pastimes. She loved all holidays and always looked forward to Christmas and Thanksgiving. Family came first to Mrs. Hamm and she always took any opportunity to love on her grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She had a giving personality and a true servant’s heart and her family find comfort in knowing she is rejoicing in Heaven.

Those left to cherish her memories include two daughters, Wanda Roberds (Ricky) of Corinth and Wendy Hartley (Johnathan) of Rienzi, two sons, Wylie Tex Hamm of Corinth and Truman Hamm of Rienzi, one brother, Thomas Rose, a special sister-in-law, Sue Rose, and five grandchildren, Olivia Cooper, Abriale Cooper, Dalton Roberds, Jonathan Hartley II, and Samuel Hartley.

In addition to her husband, Tex R. Hamm, she is also preceded by her parents, four sisters, Jessie Louise Rose, Opal Virgina Neeley, Bobbie Ruth Godwin, and Ruth Allen Ross, and two brothers, J. W. Rose and Mac Rose.
