Brenda N. Zion, age 66, of Tuscumbia, died Wednesday, November 20, 2013. Visitation for family and friends will be Saturday 2-5 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. A memorial service will follow in the funeral home chapel.
Brenda was a native of Chicago, IL, a member of Christ Chapel and served as a volunteer at Helen Keller Hospital. She was preceded in death by her mother, Jimmie Mae Watson, father, Felps Watson and husband Ken Zion.
She is survived by her son, Edward W. McAuley and wife Laura; daughter, Dee Barnett Thomas and husband, John; step sons, Chris, Bobbie, Ken “Skip” Zion; sisters, Barbara Halstead and husband Rick, Cathy Vandiver and husband Doug; grandchildren, Jessica, Ryan and Megan McAuley, Rebecca and Katie Barnett.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
