We regretfully announce the passing of Brenda Lynn Fish, 75, of Tupelo, MS. Brenda passed away Monday, May 6, 2024, after a brief illness. She was born January 22, 1949, to James and Effie Duff in Heidrick, KY. She was married in March of 1972 to her former spouse, Alan Fish. Though their relationship was not permanent, they did have two children together and remained friends afterwards. Prior to moving to Mississippi, Brenda worked as a cosmetologist and decorator in Hudson, MI. After moving to Tupelo, MS, she worked at the North Mississippi Medical Center where she retired after 15 plus years of service as a nutritionist. She spent her days thereafter devoted to decorating, sewing, gardening, cooking, and baking. She found joy in collecting antiques and jewels. Brenda spent her days with her beloved dog, Winston, whom she did many things with. She was an avid animal lover.

She is survived by two daughters, Sara Reeves, and Wendy Beck (Steve); two brothers, Tom Duff and Ron Duff; and six grandchildren, Jonah Naron, Grace Martinez (Ethan), Loren Beck, Clare Beck, Ruthe Beck, and Alice Beck.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Effie Duff; and two brothers, Jim Duff and Tim Duff.

While we would love to hold a Memorial Service honoring Brenda, there will be no services to take place at this time. Pegues Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

As a way to honor Brenda Lynn Fish, please make donations to the Tupelo Lee Humane Society at P.O. Box 1185, Tupelo, MS 38802.
