Brenda Kaye HarrisBrenda Kaye Harris, 64, passed away suddenly Friday morning, February 16, 2024, at her home. She was born March 17, 1959, in Fulton to Kenneth Wade and Mary Polly Hunt Chilcoat.  She was a devoted housewife who loved spoiling her loved ones and taking regular trips to Walmart. She enjoyed fishing, camping, and traveling, especially to the beach.  Brenda’s three dogs and cat, Buddy, Daisy, Bo, and Miss Kitty, were her passion.

Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 19, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Fulton with Bro. Bill Bass officiating.  Burial will be in Andrews Chapel Cemetery.

She is survived by her husband of almost 49 years, Lester Harris, of Saltillo; two sons, Robert Harris (Katania) of Saltillo and Jason Harris (Eve) of Mantachie; one daughter, Mary Charlotte Harris of Saltillo; three brothers, Steve Chilcoat (Amy) of Amory, Jeff South of Tremont, and William South of Florida; a special aunt, Mary Frances Lee of Dorsey; elven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

She was preceded in death by her father, Wade Chilcoat; her mother, Polly South; her stepfather, Wayne South; one brother, Kenny Chilcoat; and one sister, Sheila Hurley.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday, February 18, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home in Fulton.
