Brenda Kay Muse Baham, 77, of Starkville, Mississippi died Thursday, August 22, 2024, at Oktibbeha County Hospital in Starkville.
Visitation will be Thursday, August 29, 2024, 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM at Elkins East Chapel in Killen, Alabama. Funeral service will be Friday, August 30, 2024, 10 AM at First Baptist Church Killen. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
Mrs. Baham was the daughter of Albert and Ethel Muse of Killen, Alabama. She was preceded by her parents; siblings, Lowell “Bud” Muse, Jean Thigpen, Mary Alice Colburn, and Beth Clemons. She is survived by her husband, Aric Baham; sons, Christopher Baham (Kelly) and Jeremy Baham (Tracey); and her grandchildren, Maggie, Meredith, Patrick, and James.
Mrs. Baham was raised on the Muse farm in Killen. She lived there until marrying Aric and following him across the world while he served in the United States Navy. Over the course of their 58 year marriage, she and Aric lived across the Southeast, usually moving to be closer to family. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with family and friends, especially her grandchildren. Her happiest moments were time spent with Maggie, Meredith, Patrick and James.
Her deep and abiding faith was clear to anyone that came in contact with her. Since moving to Starkville in 2014, Brenda had been an active member of Bridgeway Baptist Church where she loved to fellowship with her Sunday School group. She will be deeply missed by her family, her church family and her many friends from across a well spent life.
