Brenda Kay Clayton, 46, passed away Monday, June 24, 2019, at her home. She was born December 16, 1972, in Amory. She worked as the service department administrative assistant for M & E Division of Jesco. She was an active and devoted member of Living Water Community Church in Mooreville where she ministered as the drama instructor. She loved going to church, work, and being home with her family. She was an inspiration and blessing to all who knew her. She was a faith-based person who loved everyone.
Services will be at noon Wednesday, June 26, at the Living Water Community Church with Bro. Paul Carlson officiating. Burial will be in the Jones Chapel Cemetery at Nettleton. McNeece-Morris Funeral Home of Mantachie is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include her husband, Glenn A. Clayton, of Mantachie; her father, James Larry Morris (Rita) of Golden; her mother, Sandra Gibbs Hill of the Evergreen community; her step-mother, Tammy Plunkett of Amory; two daughters, Ashley Clayton (David) of Missouri and Alisha Easterling (Billy) of Pontotoc; four brothers, Darrell Morris (April) of the Carolina community, Henry Fair of Nettleton, Mackie “Bo” Keller (Michelle) of Kentucky, and William Keller (Kelly) of Hatley; five sisters, Mary Annette Underwood (Bo) of Saltillo, Connie Elizabeth Parker (William) of Alabama, Mitzi Reynolds of Arkansas, Crystal Morris of Burnsville, and Theresa Williams of Booneville; three granddaughters, Myranda Easterling, Heaven Easterling, and Makaela Easterling.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Reba and Pruitt Morris; and one brother, Mike Keller.
Pallbearers will be Matthew Null, Joshua Hester, Aaron Pearson, Ethan Underwood, Darrell Darracott, and William Keller.
Honorary pallbearers will be Lonny Putt, William “Trey” Parker, Chris Dodd, Derek Stephens, Perry Franks, Blake White, and Zowie Morris.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 11 a.m. until service time Wednesday at Living Water Community Church.
