Brenda Kay Bilbrey, 72, born April 1st, 1951, of White House, TN, passed away at home peacefully with family on January 5th, 2024. Brenda was the 8th of 9 children born unto William Benton Winkler and Tera Boyd Winkler of Madison County, Alabama.
Brenda was a member of the Body of Christ and a member of Pleasant Grove Methodist Church. She was a very talented and astounding artist and loved to paint. She was a loving wife, a wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to many. She retired from the State of Tennessee where she served as an administrative assistant.
She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings Naomi Winkler Maxwell, Freda Winkler Hill, and Charles Benton Winkler. .Brenda is survived by her husband of over 52 years, Timothy Bilbrey, son Charles Damon Bilbrey (Kim), grandchildren Dawson Bilbrey (Lacey), Ava Bilbrey (Jackson), and Wyatt Bilbrey, as well as great-grandchildren Desmond and Delilah Bilbrey. Sisters Jean Winkler Kopzcynski (John), Betty Ann Winkler Hunter (Joe). Brothers Foster Winkler (Nancy), Bobby Winkler, and Ronnie Winkler and many nieces and nephews whom she loved so much.
Memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, January 13, 2024 at 3pm in the chapel of Austin & Bell Funeral Home in White House. Visitation is planned for Saturday, January 13, 2024 12pm until the time of the service at the funeral home.
