Brenda Joyce Hogeland, age 71 of Parrish, passed away Sunday, April 21, 2019 at her residence. She had a strong personality and a great sense of humor. She loved her family and her dogs. She collected dolls, loved animals, and music, especially Elvis. She was extremely good with computers and enjoyed being on the computer and IPad.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at 2:00 pm in the New Horizon Memorial Chapel. Bro. Wayne Taylor will officiate. Burial will follow in Shanghi Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, April 23, 2019 from 6:00-8:00 pm.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Eria Lockard; sister, Vivian Hollis; brothers, Thomas Lockard, Corky Lockard, and infant Albert Prentice Lockard; nephews, Thomas Leon Lockard and Larry Joe Lockard.
She is survived by her husband of thirty-five years, Glen Hogeland; son, Joshua Hogeland; stepchildren, Anita and Jessie; three grandchildren, sisters, Shirley Rucks (Bill) and Judy Lockard (John Goldsmith); and a host of nieces and nephews.
