Brenda Joyce Gooch, age 70, of Sheffield, passed away Friday, April 7, 2017. Visitation will be today, April 10th from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Spry~Williams Funeral Home of Florence. The service will be Tuesday, April 11th at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Brother Travis Dalton officiating. Burial will be at Sheffield Oakwood.
She attended New Life Tabernacle Church of Muscle Shoals. Preceded her in death was her mother, Ruby Irene Tank; and brother, Ricky Tank.
Survivors are her husband, James Gooch; children, Carol Gilchrist ( Phillip), David Hawkins, Bobby Gooch (Susan), and Michael Gooch (April); sister, Doris Richardson; brothers, Bobby Richardson, Billy Richardson, Bo Tank, Earl Tank, Tommy Tank, and James Tank; and six grandchildren.
