Brenda J. Watwood, age 59 of Leesburg, passed away Wednesday, July 20th at Cherokee Medical Center.
Funeral services will be 1:PM Saturday, July 23rd at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Steven Payne officiating; burial will follow in Memory Hill cemetery in Albertville. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8:PM Friday, at the funeral home.
Pallbearers include Andrew Hairrell, Andrew Bolton, Joey Wagner, Jerry Gay, Josh Bolton.
Survivors include her husband, Thomas Earl “Tommy” Watwood; son, Thomas Mark Watwood of Leesburg; daughter, Tina Renee (James) Hairrell; 3 granddaughters, 2 grandsons; 2 great grandsons, 2 great granddaughters and 1 great grandson on the way.
Mrs. Watwood was the daughter of the late Limuel Milford and Lorena Pearl Grubbs Carpenter, was a teacher for Jefferson County and was a member of Leesburg Baptist Church.
