Brenda Gayle Wix, age 75, of Hanceville, Alabama passed away on Tuesday, January 18, 2022. Brenda was born November 22, 1946.
Brenda loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren and enjoyed making peanut butter cookies with her great grandchildren. She enjoyed taking care of people; doing for others first; traveling and going out to eat.
She is survived by her children, Anthony (Terri) Wix, Paige Kennamer, Shantel (Ronald) Creech and Amerette (Bo) Shirley; grandchildren, Jesse (Robbin), Aaron, Brett (Stacy), Keshia (Jake), Michael, Tyler, Taylor (Tyler), Mason (Abbie) and Colton; great grandchildren, Faith, Issac, Jacob, Brentley, Maddie, Ella and Bennett.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Franklin Wix; parents, Oscar Nuss and Lillian Lee Nuss; granddaughter, Ameretta Gayle Shirley; brothers, Melvin Nuss, Gene Nuss, Wayne Nuss and Jerry Nuss; sisters, Iris Pritchett and Dorothy Hickey and sons-in-law, Steve Kennamer and Gary Brewer.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 23, 2022 from 2pm – 3pm at Bethsadia Baptist Church. The funeral service will begin at 3pm on Sunday. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery.
