Brenda Gail Randolph, 73, died peacefully Friday, June 28, 2024 at Samaritan Gardens in Tupelo. Brenda was born in Newport, AR on June 25, 1951 to the late James Edward Black and Muriel Ford Black. Three years after her birth the family moved to Indio, CA. Brenda is a 1970 graduate of Coachella Valley High School in California. In 1974 Brenda moved to Mississippi. She worked for Hickory Springs Manufacturing in Verona for 25 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Verona, and later of First Baptist Church Tupelo.

Brenda was a loving and caring person to her family and friends. She enjoyed watching NASCAR and NCIS, her two favorite things on TV. Brenda had a very special ministry of her own. Her passion was cross stitching. As her ministry, she would make very special cross stitches for new brides. There are many special brides that have received these special treasures from Brenda.

A service celebrating Brenda’s life will be held on Monday, July 1, 2024 at 2 PM from the Sadie Holland Memorial Chapel with Dr. David Hamilton officiating. The family will receive friends from 12 PM until service time on Monday at Holland Funeral Directors-Tupelo. For those unable to attend the service will be live streamed beginning at 2 PM at www.hollandfuneraldirectors.com/live-streaming/live-streaming. Holland Funeral Directors is honored to be serving their friends.

Brenda is survived by her daughter, Amy Randolph Hester of Mobile, AL; her grandson, William Chance Randolph of Meridian, MS; her great-grandson, Madden Briar Randolph of Mobile, AL; her aunt, Linda Steward of New Albany, MS; and numerous cousins and their families. She is preceded in death by her parents.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorials in Brenda’s memory be made to The Talbot House, 2794 Boatner Dr., Belden, MS 38826.
